Some McLeese Lake area residents are starting the New Year without power.
BC Hydro is reporting 38 customers are without power south of McLeese Lake Road and west of Robertson Road due to wire down on New Years Day.
The power has been off since 2:46 a.m. Jan. 1 with 2 p.m. listed as the estimated time the power will be restored. Crews are on site.
It’s the second outage in recent days for the area, which was impacted by downed trees on wire due to the Dec. 29 snowstorm.
