Licensing issues with the Ministry of Transporation have quashed plans for Sooke Harbour Taxi to resume operation following the abrupt cancellation of service at the end of July.

Manager Peter Ojum had indicated to the Sooke News Mirror earlier this week that he expected four cars to be in service by the end of August, but the company will remain out of service until the licensing issues are rectified. Ojum was unable to indicate when that will be at this time.
