Students at Ladysmith Primary School and Ladysmith Secondary School participated in a nationwide Community Clean Up Thursday in conjunction with Earth Day, which was Sunday. For approximately one hour, hundreds of environmentally conscious children took to the streets in Ladysmith to pick up garbage and sort recycling.
