A man was stabbed just after midnight on Friday, Dec 14.
Following the incident, Prince Rupert RCMP arrested a 19-year-old, who has since been released on bail. The RCMP recommended one count of aggravated assault.
The victim suffered multiple stab wounds and was taken to the Prince Rupert Hospital by ambulance.
The incident occurred near the 400 block of Ninth Avenue West.
In a prepared statement, the RCMP said the incident was isolated and there is no future risk to the community in relation to the stabbing.
