A crowd of supporters joined Wayne Stetski, NDP candidate for Kootenay-Columbia for the upcoming federal election, for the official opening his campaign office Thursday, Sept. 3, at 1325B Cranbrook Street North (beside Starbucks) in Cranbrook.

Stetski outlined some basic planks of the NDP platform, told supporters how he felt this was one of the most important elections he has experienced — “to get Canada back on track” — and expressed enthusiasm for the campaign now underway. The federal election will be held Oct. 19, 2015.
