At the end of this month, the Village of Burns Lake will decide which road section will be repaved this summer. Lakes District News asked residents which road they would like to see repaved first.

John Patrick

The street behind New Leaf Cafe, because I gotta drive back there every day, lots of traffic.

Diane Batley

The road beside the post office. There’s no room for two cars to pass due to potholes.

Matthew Adam

Eighth Avenue because it’s ridiculously bumpy.

Kevin Tom

Centre Street because the roads are bad.

Sabrina Tom

Centre Street because the potholes are too big. I don’t like going through Centre Street because of it, but then again I don’t like going through Eighth Avenue because of the same reason.

Bruce Alec

Eighth Avenue is the worst spot. I’ve seen a tire blow from hitting the potholes there.

Cheryl Greening

Fifth Avenue because it has lots of potholes at the very top, and it’s starting to get more traffic because of the bike trail.
