Join Okanagan College Students’ Unions in Kelowna, Penticton and Salmon Arm on March 12, as they launch the Squash the Squeeze Campaign.
The Squash the Squeeze asks the government to do four things:
1) Reduce Tuition Fees – So you pay less for the education you need
2) Bring Back Grants – Because education shouldn’t be a debt sentence
3) Increase Funding – So you get the classes you need and the quality you deserve
4) Eliminate Interest – On student loans and stop government from making money off struggling students.
