The lineup for the Legends Valley Music Festival is out, with Sublime headlining the new event along with The Sheepdogs, Dirty Heads and Bif Naked to name just a few of the performers.
The three-day festival is coming to Laketown Ranch from Aug. 26 to 28 in conjunction with the Bio Cup Canada Expo, a cannabis showcase that will feature international growers from Spain, Holland, Switzerland, Chile, the U.S. and more.
“We are incredibly excited to announce the inaugural lineup for Legends Valley Music Festival,” said Matthew Harvey, president of Bio Cup Canada Music Festival, in a press release.
“The lineup offers a mix of diversity and depth so there is something for everyone. Working with the Sunfest team has been a real treat as they have developed what is certain to be the best outdoor festival site in Canada.”
Three-day festival passes start at $139 and went on sale on June 10.
The Bio Cup Canada Expo will host an array of booths “covering all areas of the medical cannabis industry.”
The expo will also feature presentations from “industry leaders” and an exhibitor area for “licensed producers, seed companies, nutrient companies, hydroponics manufacturers, medical clinics, health and wellness providers.”
The festival culminates in the Bio Cup Canada Awards, hosted by John Dunsworth and Patrick Roach, as their characters from Trailer Park Boys, Mr. Lahey and Randy.
The competition’s categories include: professional grower, private grower, concentrate, edibles and best glass (pipes/bongs).
According to the press release, non-camping patrons will have access to shuttles running daily from Victoria.
