Members of the Keremeos RCMP, the South Okanagan Traffic Services, BC AMbulance and the Keremeos and District Volunteer Fire Department attended the scene of a serious motorcycle accident just past Standing Rock on Sunday, August 7 at 5 :25 p.m.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation, but alcohol is not considered a factor. The highway was closed for a couple of hours as a result of the accident.
The driver, an adult male, was air lifted to Kelowna General Hospital on Sunday night. His condition is unknown at this time.
