SURREY — Surrey RCMP’s Missing Persons Unit is continuing its search for a Surrey man who has been missing for more than six months now.
Police say Shareef Abdulrahman, 32, was reported missing on May 29, 2015, after he failed to show up for a medical appointment in Surrey.
He is described as Arabic, five feet six inches tall and 176 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. Abdulrahman, before he went missing, was known to frequent Surrey’s city centre and Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside.
Surrey RCMP Cpl. Scotty Schumann said police are particularly concerned for him because he requires “essential medication.”
Police ask anyone with information on Abdulrahman’s whereabouts to contact the Surrey RCMP at 604-599-0502 and quote file number 2015-74236.
