Surrey police investigate after man says he was assaulted and held captive in Whalley

WHALLEY — Surrey RCMP’s Serious Crime Unit is wanting to speak to witnesses after a man says he was assaulted and held captive in a North Surrey home on Thursday night.

Surrey RCMP they found an injured man at about 8:30 p.m. in the 10100 block of Whalley Boulevard. Police say he was treated in hospital for minor injuries.

RCMP say one person is in custody in what they call a “targeted incident.”
