SURREY — Surrey Mounties have arrested 38 robbery suspects so far this fall.

Businesses were targeted in the majority of cases.

In November alone, seven suspects were charged with 32 crimes involving tax robberies, bank robberies and store robberies.

Jacob Dahlnas, 23, has been charged with robbery and assault with a weapon, and Shayne Hewer, 24, has been charged with two counts of robbery and two counts of assault with a weapon related to taxi robberies.

David Pullen, 26, has been charged with robbery and Wesley Beddome, 52, has been charged with two counts of robbery and disguise with intent related to bank robberies.

Michael Iveson, Travis Fraser and Sidney Goosens have been charged in relation to store robberies. Iveson, 30, has been charged with robbery. Fraser, 24, has been charged with seven counts of robbery, six counts of using an imitation firearm, and possession of a weapon dangerous to public peace.

Goosens, 24, has been charged with robbery with a firearm, robbery, disguise with intent, using a restricted or prohibited firearm, pointing a firearm, possession of a firearm without license, and using a firearm while committing an offence.
