Surrey teen robbed at knifepoint

Brazen daylight robbery saw man push teen to the ground and robbed of $1,600.

Police are looking for witnesses to a brazen daylight robbery of a teen in Sullivan.

On Thursday, Aug. 11 at 1 p.m., a 16-year-old male was walking near 152 Street and Panorama Drive (just north of Highway 10).

He was approached by a man who pushed him to the ground. The attacker produced a knife and demanded cash.

He took $1,600 from the teen and fled on foot toward Highway 10.

The suspect is described as being about 5′ 11″, medium build with reddish-blonde hair and was wearing dark glasses.

The victim is not known to police.
