RCMP are searching for three suspects from a major 2022 theft, in which $370,000 worth of home appliances were stolen from a Burnaby warehouse.
Police say the thieves took off with four shipping containers of the goods after breaking into a property on Lowland Drive, near Tillicum Street, and jacking a semi truck. Officers were called to the commercial warehouse on Feb. 12, 2022.
They later found the shipping containers and stolen semi truck in various locations throughout the Lower Mainland, but never recovered the home appliances.
About two months later, on April 13, 2022, police executed a search warrant on a home in Surrey and arrested 45-year-old Jamey McIntyre and 33-year-old Ashley Heide.
They’ve since each been charged with theft of a motor vehicle, break and enter and two counts of possession of stolen property. However, the two were released after their initial arrest and are now at large.
Police are asking the public to help find them.
McIntyre is described as 5’8” tall with a medium build and brown hair. He is wanted Canada-wide. Heide is 5’6” tall and has a slender build and black hair. She is wanted B.C.-wide.
Police are also hoping for help identifying the third suspect in the break and enter and theft. They are believed to be a Caucasian male, possibly in their 30’s.
