The trailer photographed above was taken off the road after the driver hauling the load was pulled over Thursday by Sicamous RCMP for carrying an unsecured and unsafe load. Sgt. Carl Vinet says several violations were found, including frayed or broken straps, loose wood and a lack of red flagging on the ends of the load. Despite having a wide load permit, the load’s width exceeded the permit limits, says Vinet.
