A semi truck overturned off Highway 97 Sunday late morning.
The tanker, carrying malt barley, was heading southbound beside the Army Camp in Vernon when it landed on its side in the ditch.
Traffic was still able to travel around the accident, with one south-bound lane closed while the incident was cleared.
The 62-year-old driver, from Alberta, escaped without injury. He was issued a ticket for failing to confine his vehicle to the right.
