Tattoo offers evacuees tickets

Two performances Saturday and Sunday at Kal Tire Place

This weekend’s Okanagan Military Tattoo at Kal Tire Place in Vernon will roll out the welcome mat for wildfire evacuees.

Organizers announced Thursday morning that complimentary tickets will be offered to evacuees for both performances, thanks to a generous donation by Kal Tire.

“Every evacuee family is given a copy of their social service file so all they have to do is show that at Ticket Seller (at the Vernon Performing Arts Centre) starting Friday,” said Tattoo spokesperson Derek Hall.

“As long as there are tickets available, evacuee families can get in free of charge.”

The Tattoo holds performances Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m.
