Kids brought their favourite stuffed animals to see the doctor at the Prince Rupert Regional Hospital on Saturday morning at this year’s Teddy Bear Clinic.

After the kids checked their patients in at the front desk, actual doctors and nurses demonstrated routine procedures that kids face when being taken to the hospital on the toys, such as getting shots and explaining X-rays.

There were also an ambulance, fire truck and a police cruiser for kids to explore outside in the parking lot as well.

The idea behind the clinic is to make the prospect of going to the hospital less scary for the small children who participated.
