THE TERRACE RCMP have responded to approximately 20 calls for service from January 31, 8 a.m. till February 1.
During the same time period, there were two people lodged in cells, one for public intoxication.
Downtown Terrace
shoplifter at Safeway that occurred on January 27th.
man causing a disturbance at the Golden Star restaurant. He left prior to police attendance.
Elsewhere Terrace
intoxicated man wandering into traffic on Park Ave. Police arrested the 52-year-old man for public intoxication.
intoxicated man possibly in breach of a no contact condition. Checks were done of the area and police spoke with a woman.
intoxicated woman walking by Polly’s CafĂ© on Keith Ave/Kenney St.
a man was pepper sprayed. He attended to the Mills Memorial Hospital and parked his van in the ambulance spot. The ambulance needed the van moved. The licence plates did not belong to the van. Police moved the van and seized both licence plates. The man was not cooperative with police.
intoxicated man at the shelter. He left prior to police attendance. Checks were done of the area.
suicidal 20-year-old man locked himself in a bathroom. Police convinced the man to come out of the bathroom. He was transported to Mills Memorial Hospital.
intoxicated man banging on doors in the Howe Creek Trailer Court. Police helped the 23-year-old man find the unit he was looking for and handed him into the care of a sober person.
suspicious circumstances involving drugs.

suspicious vehicle parked on Haugland Ave/Molitor St.
13-year-old boy assaulted his grandmother.
Thornhill
a package was sent from out of province via Canada Post Express. The receiver did not receive it, even though Canada Post states it was delivered. Advice was given on the matter.
a woman wanted police to retrieve her child from his father. Not a police matter. Police gave advice on the matter.
a green Pontiac Grand Am was checked on Queensway Dr. A 17-year-old girl was given a driving suspension for driving under the influence of alcohol.
a blue Ford truck was checked on Queensway Dr. An amount of drugs was seized from a 54-year-old man.
a driving prohibition was served on a 17-year-old girl that was checked on Queensway Dr.
sexual assault investigation.
Rural
a concerned parent advised police that a teenage girl was having a party on Old Remo Road and the parents were not home. Police spoke with the girl and gave advice on the matter.
