Teen reported missing three times in 24 hours

Terrace RCMP responded to approximately 16 calls for service from December 11th, 8 a.m. till December 12th, 8 a.m.

During the same time period, two people were lodged in Terrace cells – one person was lodged for intoxication.

Downtown Terrace

A man and woman were observed holding hands strolling down Lakelse Ave. The man was in breach of no contact condition of probation. Police arrested the 40-year-old man. He is held for court.

Theft of whiskey from the BC Liquor Store on Eby St. Under investigation.

A group of people drinking alcohol on Lakelse Ave. behind a building. Police spoke with the group and dumped some alcohol.

Intoxicated man staggering down Greig Ave, possibly going to drive. Checks were done of the area.

Elsewhere Terrace

A blue CCM mountain bike was found in the Veritas School playground.

Break and enter on Tuck Ave. Police spoke with the people involved. It was a landlord/tenant issue and miscommunication. Unfounded.

Abandoned vehicle in a hotel parking lot. Police spoke with the manager of the hotel and contacted the registered owner.

False residential alarm on Rowland St.

Assist New Hazelton RCMP with an investigation.

Intoxicated man passed out in a yard on Pear St. BC Ambulance transported the man to Mills Memorial Hospital due to his level of intoxication.

A man claimed to have suffered injury when a taxi refused service to him. Incident occurred on August 22nd.

Missing 13-year-old boy. Runaway. Third time he has been reported missing in 24 hours.

Thornhill

Assist Kitimat RCMP with an investigation.

A black 1998 Ford Escort was pulled over on Clarke St./Paquette Ave. The 45-year-old driver provided a sample of breath into a roadside screening device that resulted in a fail. He was served an Immediate Roadside Prohibition and the vehicle he was driving was impounded.

Rural

A grey Jeep Cherokee drove on a walkway in front of the airport. Under investigation.

Kitsumkalum

Police apprehended a 31-year-old woman under the Mental Health Act and transported her to Mills Memorial Hospital to be assessed.
