A teenager who was stabbed in the hand in Langley City Tuesday afternoon was “minimally cooperative” with investigators, police said.
Police, firefighters, and paramedics were called to 197th Street near 64th Avenue at about 3:45 p.m. on Aug. 4.
The emergency responders found a young man in a car who had suffered a minor wound to one hand. He was bandaged at the scene by firefighters and paramedics.
The teen gave Langley RCMP some details, said Sgt. Alexandra Mulvihill. He said he had been attacked near Value Village and had then driven away with a friend.
The victim needed a few stitches but was not seriously hurt.
Officers are currently looking into video surveillance around the area where the stabbing occurred, said Mulvihill.
