Teens sought in connection to rash of fire alarms

Several alarms have been set off at Township of Langley Civic Centre since the beginning of the year

Langley RCMP say a group of teens may be responsible for setting off several fire alarms at the Township Civic Centre in Willoughby since the beginning of the new year.

Police allege the group was present when the fire alarm was triggered at the Township hall in Willoughby on Feb. 9.

Police believe the young people pull the fire alarm and run on foot. This sets off a chain reaction, where the property owner is required to attend as well as the fire department, said police.  This is third such incident since Jan. 1.
