Telkwa snags $680,000 in infrastructure funding

Tuesday, the Village of Telkwa received more than $680,000 towards infrastructure projects in the community.

Tuesday, the Village of Telkwa received more than $680,000 towards infrastructure projects in the community.

The funds, received from the Government of Canada’s Gas Tax Fund, are earmarked for improvements to the Telkwa municipal building, a biomass heating system and a sustainable subdivision development plan.

“We are very excited to receive the Gas Tax funding,” Telkwa Mayor Carman Graf said.
