A police investigation has led to the arrest of a Kitimat man in relation to trafficking cocaine.
According to an RCMP press release, on Thursday, Feb. 5, members of the Terrace detachment’s General Investigations Section became involved in a drug file that led plainclothes officers to arrest a 29-year-old man in a parking lot near the intersection of Hwy 16 and Hwy 37. Police seized a quantity of suspected cocaine packaged in plastic bags.
Police contacted the Ministry of Children and Family Development upon finding two children in the man’s vehicle.
He was later released on a Promise to Appear in Court.
