The daffodils are blooming Wendy Blaskovic, volunteer representative for the Canadian Cancer Society in Ashcroft, pins a daffodil on Mayor Andy Anderson as part of Daffodil month. Ashcroft Council declared April as Canadian Cancer Society’s Daffodil month. Daffodil pins are available, for a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society, at BC Liquor Stores, the Ashcroft Bakery, Chris’s Under the Bridge, Peoples Drug Mart and the Gold Trail School District Office. Apr. 27 is Daffodil Day.
