The Future of Energy

Time is running out, but there’s still time for you to attend the showing of one of North America’s most acclaimed and outstanding films about the future of energy throughout the continent and its place in the world.

Featuring some of America’s top energy specialists, The Future of Energy is to be shown by the local Council of Canadians chapter, Campbell River Courtenay and District Labour Council and the Timberline Earth Club at the North Island College Theatre, 1685 S. Dogwood Street on May 2, with admission by donation.

Doors open at 6:30 pm with the film starting at 7pm.

The Future of Energy is really about the clean energy revolution happening right now,” says Sierra Club executive director Michael Brune. “By the final credits, you’ll know both how and why renewable energy is the cleanest, quickest, cheapest and safest way to supply all of our energy needs.”
