Thieves flee with fuel from Fisherman’s Wharf

Victoria police say $2,700 of fuel was stolen on two separate nights from secured tank

Thieves slipped past two security gates and took more than $2,700 in fuel at Fisherman’s Wharf in James Bay, according to Victoria police.

The thefts occurred overnight on Aug. 7 and 8, but weren’t noticed by staff until the next day.

There was no sign of damage to the secured gates, police said. VicPD are continuing to investigate.
