Thieves targeting trucks and backcountry recreation vehicles have once again struck in the middle of the night. This time they stole a truck, dirtbike and an ATV from a driveway in Johnson Heights sometime between Sunday night and Monday morning.

Revelstoke RCMP received a report on Monday morning that a 2004 Ford F-350 loaded with the other two recreational vehicles went missing from a resident’s driveway.

The truck was outfitted with a club-style steering wheel lock, but the thieves circumvented it by sawing through the steering wheel then removing the lock.

The ATV is a 2007–09 grey 700cc Yamaha Grizzly. The bike was a white and orange 2000 Honda XR250.
