Thieves steal computers and two beers during downtown Nanaimo restaurant break-in

Break-and-enter happened Sept. 3 at Zalathai Thai Restaurant on Victoria Crescent

A thief or thieves took computers, a small amount of cash and two beers during a break-in at a downtown Thai restaurant earlier this month.

According to a Nanaimo RCMP press release issued last week, the break-and-enter happened sometime overnight on Sept. 3 at Zalathai Thai Restaurant on Victoria Crescent. One of the doors to the rear of the business had been pried open.
