A local non-profit group has lost more than $1,000 after a break-in on the weekend.
Princeton Family Services, on Kenley Avenue, was robbed of two laptop computers, a printer, a clock, and a large block of cheese, according to RCMP Sergeant Barry Kennedy.
Kennedy said it is believed the stolen computers did not contain sensitive data.
“They are also password protected so they are useless to anyone,” he said.
The Princeton Family Services Society supports local children and their families through contracts with government agencies.
“This is a non-profit society doing good work in the community,” said Kennedy. “The irony of the whole thing is that Princeton Family Services exists to help those in need and those in need ripped them off.
