Three Mission residents have been charged in relation to a violent incident in March that saw two men suffer injuries.
Just before midnight on March 30, Mission RCMP were called to the 33800 block of Dlugosh Avenue.
Police located a 25-year-old Abbotsford man and a 33-year-old Mission man both suffering from non-life threatening injuries. The two men had been assaulted by several suspects with a crowbar and possibly an axe.
Police have now arrested 23-year-old Michael Jared Johnson and 24-year-old Julie Marilyn Kimber and charged them both with two counts of aggravated assault and robbery and one count each of theft of a motor vehicle, possession of a prohibited firearm, production of a controlled substance and possession for the purpose of trafficking.
Kimber also faces one charge of uttering threats.
A third suspect, Joseph Ronald Kellington, 23, has been charged with two counts of aggravated assault and robbery and one count of theft of a motor vehicle. He has not yet been arrested.
Johnson remains in custody, but Kimber has been released on bail.
