A home invasion in the 700 block of Eleventh Avenue has resulted in charges against three individuals.
Christopher Cousineau, Dustin Renney and Stuart McLellan have been charged in relation to the incident that occurred at 11 p.m., Sept. 24. According to the RCMP, the three suspects were arrested shortly after the home invasion. The three are known to police. Cousineau has been charged with unlawfully being in a dwelling house, and with two assault charges; Renney faces unlawfully being in a dwelling house and use of a weapon and McLellan is charged with unlawfully being in a dwelling house.
The RCMP say the home invasion was not a random attack, noting that the people in the home and the three accused are known to each other, although the link is not known at this time.
“It’s certainly not a random act that the public need to worry about,” said Sgt. Rick LeBeuf, media liasion with the Williams Lake detachment.
The three appeared in court Monday morning and were released into the community until their next court appearance Oct. 12.
