A suspect is being sought after an assault in a Vernon neighbourhood.
On Saturday at about 4:45 p.m., police officers were called to 18th Avenue and 31st Street where three people had been pepper sprayed.
“At least one of the victims was also assaulted with a weapon of some kind,” said Gord Molendyk, RCMP spokesperson.
No arrests have been made.
“A few people of interest have come to light,” said Molendyk of a possible suspect.
It’s not known if the victims knew the perpetrator.
“Officers are trying to narrow down the who, what and why,” said Molendyk.
