Four people, including a three-year-old girl, were taken to hospital with minor injuries following a three-vehicle crash in South Surrey last Tuesday.
Surrey RCMP Cpl. Bert Paquet said the crash occurred in the 2200-block of 148 Street just before 8 p.m., when a 2002 PT Cruiser leaving Rotary Way struck a 2002 Ford Escape that was northbound on 148 Street.
The Ford then collided head-on with a southbound 2008 BMW.
All three vehicles had to be towed from the scene. Only one person, the 38-year-old driver of the PT Cruiser, did not go to hospital. The Richmond resident was charged with fail to yield to a vehicle in connection with the collision.
Paquet said occupants of the other two vehicles – all Surrey residents, aged three years, 18, 37 and 42 – reported mostly back and upper-body soreness.
