The annual Tour de Rock’s stop in Parksville Qualicum Beach was another huge success with police officers and select media riders cycling from Port Alice to Victoria over about two weeks, stopping in various communities along the way.

Since 1998, the tour has raised more than $20 million for the Canadian Cancer Society, specifically funding pediatric cancer research and programs.
