Last week, Cache Creek Council approved spending up to $6,000 to complete the Official Community Plan (OCP) update that they began over a year ago.
The consultant, Michael Rosen, who was guiding the process, passed away in May. The review was almost finished and the wording in the plan needed some revision.
Nearly $14,000 has already been spent on the review process, which included the consultant meeting with a group of public volunteers.
The remainder of the project’s $25,000 budget is expected to pay for the maps that accompany the OCP.
