The Kelowna Fire Department was able to limit the damage to a fire that started in a townhouse on Ambrosi Road early this morning.
Firefighters responded at 6:28 a.m. to the blaze, initially reported on the roof of theĀ three-storey townhouse.
The fire was able to be extinguished quickly with the aid of the building’s emergency sprinkler system. There was some water damage to neighbouring townhouse units.
Eighteen firefighters responded to the scene, and none of the townhouse tenants suffered injuries.
