Puddles, the wiener dog, the blind rescue dog, went missing from his dog sitters near 96 Ave. and 208 Street on Sunday morning. His owner, a longtime Fort Langley businesswoman Jasmine Marjanovic is desperate to find him.

Fort Langley resident and owner of the Cranberries Naturally store, Jasmine Marjanovic is asking everyone in the Walnut Grove and Willoughby area to be on the look out for her blind rescue dog Puddles, after the dog went missing on Sunday morning.

Marjanovic has brought in tracking bloodhounds from Petsearchers Canada to help find Puddles, a rusty brown coloured Dachshund (wiener) dog, who went missing at approximately 8 a.m. around 101 and 208 Street by Derby Reach Park area. He was being looked after by a friend and he got out, said Marjanovic.

“Puddles is totally blind and is on medication that he has to have everyday,” she said on Monday.

“My heart is so broken right now that I can hardly breathe.”

Marjanovic has been in contact with LAPS and there has been no sign of her dog. The disabled dog is friendly so she is hoping someone has found her dog. The bloodhounds didn’t find a track for Puddles.

Marjanovic has helped organize or contribute to several important local causes, many of them for animal care.

If you have seen Puddles or know anything contact LAPS at 604-857-5055.
