Traffic on the Agassiz/Harrison bridge reached a standstill on Friday afternoon when a bicyclist fell from his bike and required medical attention.
There’s no official word on what happened, but a witness at the scene said he just appeared to fall over, and others speculated heat stroke as the temperature was in the mid-20s, significantly cooler than earlier in the week.
Traffic was additionally affected by motorists stopping to lend aid and direct traffic until ambulances arrived on scene.
