5 – Teck announces changes to its acid transport after two spills on local highways. International Raw Materials Ltd. announced it had made changes to the transport and mode of transport of the sulphuric acid.
5 – May closed off as the warmest May on record for the region. The daily average temperature was 4.8 C above normal said the Southeast Fire Centre.

13 – The new skatepark in Trail will be named the Trail Sk8 Park, a named submitted several years before by Clarice Tuai in a logo design contest.

20 – A storm that knocked out power in the region, has forced Warfield to ask its residents to reduce water consumption while it replenishes its reservoir. The power outage impacted the village’s water treatment plant.
25 – A public meeting to help Trail council decide on the rules for future retailers of recreational marijuana drew zero opposition. The council stuck to existing bylaws with some tweaks to permit sales in four commercial zones.
