Wire was found deliberately placed across on a trail located outside the Vedder River Campground last week.
It was at different height levels, according to a post on social media, which asked hikers and trail users to use extra caution in the area.
Incidents of rope and wire strung across biking and recreational trails has been reported in various spots across B.C. in recent years.
The wire was spotted by trail users last Sunday, April 13.
