First responders were called to an accident just after 5 p.m. at the intersection of Nanaimo Avenue and Ellis Street.
A utility trailer was found on its side with debris spread across the road. One witness at the scene said a passenger was removed from the vehicle by firefighters to an ambulance.
The intersection was closed for an hour while tow trucks cleaned the scene and RCMP investigated the incident.
