Sgt. Kevin Podbisky, NCO-in-charge at Clearwater RCMP detachment, has been given a transfer to Prince George. He came to this community in October of 2011.
“We’ve enjoyed our time here,” he says. “It was my first command, so it’s obviously very special for me.”
Priorities while he has been here have included strengthening relations with other agencies, such as Ministry of Children and Families, Thompson-Nicola Regional District, and District of Clearwater, as well as getting members out in the community doing activities such as coaching sports. Podbisky will not be moving until his house sells.
