A Transit Police cruiser was involved in a crash in Surrey Saturday night.

It happened around 11 p.m. in the 12600-block of King George Boulevard.

Surrey RCMP Corporal Elenore Sturko said the Transit Police vehicle collided with a car when it was turning into a parking lot.

While a freelancer at the scene said one person was taken to hospital, police say no injuries have been reported.

The investigation is ongoing, Sturko noted.
