Transit survey to poll Fraser Valley Express riders

BC Transit and the Fraser Valley Regional District are reaching out to riders of the #66FVX (Fraser Valley Express) to seek feedback on the commuter service.

The service, which was launched on April 6, 2015 and connects Chilliwack, Abbotsford and Langley, has continued to see ridership growth.

The Fraser Valley Regional District says the bus carries approximately 350 riders every weekday. Since launch, the service completed 29,990 through Sept. 30, with 5,857 recorded in September.

Now, BC Transit is coming back to riders to find out how it’s working and whether there are any opportunities for improvement.

The survey can be found online at bctransit.com/central-fraser-valley by clicking on “Transit Future” and then “Fraser Valley Express.” The link for the survey is active until Nov. 15.

Commuters are also encouraged to look for BC Transit staff on board the buses and share their thoughts about this popular route.

For more information on transit routes and schedules, call 604-854-3232 in Abbotsford and 604-795-3838 in Chilliwack or visit the website.

In Abbotsford, the bus stops at Highstreet and McCallum Road. The route connects with Translink’s Carvolth Exchange in Langley.
