Eric Falloon’s trial on charges of stabbing, shooting and kidnapping a Quesnel resident is set for April 11.
Falloon was charged with the offences after RCMP attended G.R. Baker Memorial Hospital in October, 2009.
At G.R. Baker Quesnel RCMP spoke to a man who claimed he had been stabbed several times and shot at.
The victim said he was forced into a vehicle at a local hotel by people he knew.
The victim then claimed he was taken out into the bush where he was stabbed several times
and shot at as he was running away.
The victim was able to get away and ran and hid in the bush.
He was eventually found in the daylight on the 1300 Road by two forestry workers and taken to hospital.
RCMP arrested a male (Falloon) and female on the West Side, Oct. 2 at 6 p.m.
Both the female and the male were arrested for aggravated assault, kidnapping and firearm offenses.
The male was also found in possession of a large amount of crack cocaine.
Both suspects are known to the Quesnel RCMP drug section.
Warrants were executed on the suspect’s residence, the vehicle was also searched.
