Truck fire on Trans-Canada

Emergency personnel called to Chase Friday night after wheels of transport truck catch fire.

Many Chase residents may have heard a pop or bang after truck tires caught fire around 7:37 Friday night, followed by many sirens. Here police look over the responsible transport truck as Chase volunteer firefighters put out a fire on the trailer. Initial investigation showed the brakes may have overheated, catching fire. The driver had to detach the truck from the trailer and move it out of danger.
