Traffic on Hwy 1 had to drive carefully around a scattered load of finished lumber on Monday night after a super B hit the ditch and flipped at the bottom of Oregon Jack Hill around 9:40 pm.
The lumber blocked one of the westbound lanes, but the highway remained open. The 29 year old driver from Surrey was trasnported to Kamloops hospital where he was treated for minor injuries. He told police that he was blinded by a set of oncoming headlights and lost sight of the road.
