TED RAMSEY is going to have a veteran opponent in his regional district re-election bid.

Les Watmough, the person he defeated in 2008 to be the Thornhill and area director on the Kitimat-Stikine regional district board, has returned to oppose him.

Also running for that seat is Sarah Crampton.

Meanwhile, four people are running for the regional district seat that stretches south to the rural area around Kitimat coming north to Lakelse Lake and then up into the Rosswood area.

Incumbent Allan Lanctot has Glenn Martin, Doug McLeod and sitting Terrace city councillor Brad Pollard running against him. Martin ran unsuccessfully for the Thornhill seat in 2008 and Pollard has decided not to run for Terrace city council again.
