NEWTON — A birthday party ended bloody in Surrey Saturday night.
Police say a fight involving roughly 20 people spilled out onto the street in the 13800-block of of 89th Avenue just before 11 p.m..
Two 17-year-old boys from Surrey were stabbed in the brawl and taken to Surrey Memorial Hospital where they were treated for superficial cuts to the lower back.
One may need surgery, but both are expected to fully recover, police say.
It’s not known what started the fight.
